Flight Training

Great Lakes Helicopter is registered as a career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005., delivering one of Canada’s most comprehensive, career-focused helicopter training programs. Located beside the Region of Waterloo International Airport, our school pairs a diverse operational fleet with highly experienced instructors and exclusive in-house ground school to support students from their first flight through to full Transport Canada licensing.

Our commercial operations provide precision aerial application services for growers throughout Southwestern Ontario, helping improve efficiency, accuracy, and crop performance with safe and reliable aerial solutions. Beyond agriculture, we offer a comprehensive range of specialized aviation services, including aerial photography, cinematic filming, land surveying, LiDAR mapping, greenhouse shading, corn detasseling, forestry operations, and forest fire support. Backed by experienced pilots, specialized aircraft, and a strong commitment to safety, we deliver dependable, high-quality results tailored to the unique needs of agricultural, commercial, and government clients.

Introductory Flight
